If you want to truly thank a Warrior for their service to this country as they were raped and sexually assaulted for your freedom. Please don't ignore that we have the highest rate of suicide among all Veteran groups. We are 80 percent more likely to be in domestic violent relationship. We have a 50/50 chance of killing ourselves. When a 100 percent service connected Veteran becomes Homeless they are considered over income. The Veteran will not get the support needed to end their homelessness from SSVF or the VA. They then become 90 percent likely to kill themselves. I am asking for you to care for them like your own family member and help save their life with us. To help us affect change so, they can live and love for today. That they no longer carry shame or guilt for the pain and suffering inflicted upon them but remember they are worthy of love.
